Hello, my name is Dr. Michelle Hubbard. I returned to Woodlawn High School in 2019 after spending several years gaining knowledge and experience from various school districts! I have been in the field of education for over 14 years. I have been the Department Chair at Woodlawn High School for the last 2 years. Prior to this role, I spent the extent of career focusing on IEP development and compliance. Therefore, I am deeply invested in the success of our students and ensuring they are provided with the highest quality of education that will support their academic, socio-emotional, and physical development. My goal is to ensure that all students and parents within our program feel and are supported throughout their four years with us.

Outside of education, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three sons. I also love going to local museums, trying new foods, reading and continuing my develop my knowledge of special education through outside research.
