Bio: My name is Dr. Hunter,
and I am in the School Program for Acceleration and Recovery of Credit (SPARC)
department. This is my 33rd year of teaching mathematics!
My hobbies
include walking and gardening. During my free time I take care of my plants. I
do this because:
If I take care of my
plants, then they will grow.
If my
plants grow, then I will eat fresh vegetables.
If I eat
fresh vegetables, I will be healthier.
P.S. I am working on another set of Conditional Statements that will
end with - college and success!!

Bio: Hello! My name is
Ms. Wiessner. I previously I
taught for 4 years as a 6th grade Science, College & Career
Readiness, and AVID educator at Lansdowne Middle. This year I will be helping
students navigate the Living Systems and Earth Systems courses in our SPARC

ownership of their education and find their passion & path in life. I am
also active within our teacher’s union where I believe I have the
responsibility to advocate for the needs of my students and fellow educators.
Outside of school I enjoy taking care of my plants and working on my
never-ending house projects.

Hello, my name is
Jacqueline Wood and I’ve been an employee of Baltimore County Public School system
since the 2003.
I started
as a One on One, through Social Service Consultants, in Ellicott City. In 2003, I became a substitute teacher in
Baltimore County Public Schools. Under
the leadership of Principal Lynette Woodley, in 2005, she offered me a
position as a Para-Professional. Since then, I’ve upheld my loyalty to BCPS
and have committed all my efforts to assist our students and teachers as much
as possible.
Treating
each other with respect is so important.
We all deserve respect from one another and to show respect,
especially with our students. I find it important to provide an environment
that allows our student to feel comfortable and safe to talk with adults, as
needed. Secondly, it is key to build trust. I’ve cherished all the relationships I’ve
formed.
I look forward to working with our students
this school year. Also, I look
forward to working closely with my SPARC Family!
