After a successful first-ever year of school day tutoring, Woodlawn High celebrates the work of their work-based learning students who dedicated themselves to the success of their peers. Thanks to their hard work, we have been able to prove the impact, effectiveness, and overall significance of a program that supports students in achieving at high levels!

Mrs. Harris-Simms serves as the CTE Career Navigator for Woodlawn High. She also supervises the school-day tutoring program and has been instrumental in maintaining this program throughout the 2024-2025 school year. She thoughtfully came up with the idea of starting a school-day tutoring program so that Woodlawn High students and teachers could benefit from non-traditional tutoring directly in their classrooms.
