Food for Fines!! ‚Äč

Food for fines program

The library is proud to partner with the 100 Strong Role Models with the "Food for Fines" initiative.

In lieu of overdue fines for returning a book late, we ask that you bring in bring in canned or boxed goods, toiletries, etc.  Each item donated will reduce your fine by up to $1.00. The maximum fine for a late book is $5.00 (per book). If your fine is $5.00, just bring in 5 items.  If you have a $10.00 fine, bring in 10 items.

As we head into the holiday season, this is an excellent way to give back to the entire Woodlawn community.

Important note:
This does not work for lost or damaged books - only overdue fines.

Please contact Mrs. Frager in the library 410-887-1365 or at for more information about the Food for Fines Initiative.
