Hello My Name Is...
I have been teaching at Woodlawn High School for the past 9 years. I graduated from the University of Maryland (UMBC) with undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology. I then completed a Master's in Teaching through UMBC. I am currently enrolled in a second Master's degree program through Johns Hopkins University in Applied Biomedical Engineering to further my knowledge of STEM and and advance our Biomedical Science Program as well as the rest of the Science Department.
This year, I will be teaching within the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Science Program, Human Body Systems and Biomedical Innovation, our capstone course. I will also be teaching Contemporary Problems in Biology (CPIB) and working with the Biology Bridge Plan Program.
