Hello, my name is...
Who am I?
I have lived in Maryland pretty much my whole life. I went to college at James Madison University and majored in Psychology with a minor in Art. After college, I went to graduate school at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and studied Art Therapy. Once I completed graduate school, I decided to go into teaching and completed an Accelerated Certification in Teaching at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
For the past few years I have been teaching in Baltimore County Public Schools. This is my first year teaching at Woodlawn and I am very excited to work with the talented students here. I did my student teaching at Lansdowne Elementary and Western Tech. I also taught as a long term substitute at Sudbrook Magnet Middle. The past two years I had been working at Elmwood Elementary School as an art teacher.
I teach Fundamentals of Art and Design in Clay. I also am one of the Art Club advisors (information TBA).
Fundamentals of Art: every Wednesday from 2:15-3:15
Design in Clay: every Thursday from 2:15-3:15
